As a contemporary realist painter, I'm fascinated by the skin of the world, the bounce and skitter of light on textures, and the push and pull of shadows on form. ReplyDeleteI'm a 'stranger' that follows your blog and I absolutely love seeing your work come together day-by-day. I'm originally from Atlanta, GA but moved to Anchorage, AK in my early 20's. I'm midlife now and splitting time between Anchorage and a little town in Minnesota where my youngest son is attending prep school. Just dropped my oldest off at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. I love to quilt and have dabbled in oil painting the last couple of years. Trying to figure out what to do with myself in the next season of my life (post empty-nest). Anyhow, thank you for posting your work. It is amazing and very inspiring! Vicki Sinz
